ABOUT US
Ummatee Centre for the Promotion of Public Education, Accountability and Social Safety (UC4PASS) is a registered non-governmental, non-partisan, not-for-profit public serving organization, created by active members of various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in 2022. Registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 04-10-2023 CAT/IT/7165184, Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) – EFCC in 27-10-2023 RN: SC 201401945.

To advocate for comprehensive social protection, promote accountable governance, empower marginalized groups, reduce poverty and inequality, through research, inclusive democracy, peace and security, policy advocacy, capacity building and collaboration for more just and equitable society.
VISION
A society with efficient and effective citizen’s access to justice, social protection, accountability, inclusive democracy, peace and stability for sustainable development.
GOAL
To influence the design and implementation of comprehensive social protection programs that offer a continuum of support to poor and vulnerables, including income transfers, poverty and inequality reduction, healthcare services, education and skills development, employment opportunities, peace and security, inclusive democracy, human rights for innovative and productive society.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Executive Director
With an Admin & Finance academic background, has over 10 years of experience in NGO, serves as a volunteer managerial position in many local NGOs. Has expertise in Social Mobilization, Programming, and NGOs funded project implementation.
Director/Secretary
An Economist, has Bsc, M.Sc, PhD. Works as a Senior Lecturer in Federal University Dutse and the Director Center for Gender Studies. Also a member of Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation.
Director
A private legal practitioner operating in Kano state, With over 5 years experience is a pro bono lawyer with the Legal Aid Council and a member of the Human Rights Committee NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches.
